Gondella Villalbilla, Madrid A new Mi Alcampo supermarket at El Mirador
In September 2025, Mi Alcampo opened a new supermarket at the El Mirador de Villalbilla shopping park, in the Community of Madrid. Mi Alcampo is the franchise formula of the Spanish chain of the Auchan group. With around 900 m² of sales area, the store serves Villalbilla and the surrounding municipalities.
Gondella and the Mi Alcampo team designed the fit-out together, from shelving to front-end: modular shelving systems, checkout counters, lockers, promotional display units and shopping trolley stations.
The project combines standardised and customised furniture in the same store. All of it designed, manufactured and installed as a single project, to meet the store's opening date.

The aisles are built on Gondella's modular shelving systems: standard modules that can be reconfigured and expanded as the assortment changes. In Villalbilla the same system carries the bakery wall, the wine section and the fruit and vegetable area: one range, three categories with different needs.

Gondella supplied the front-end of the store: three checkout counters and the surrounding furniture, finished to match the shelving on the sales floor.

Gondella also delivered lockers, promotional display units for the sales floor and shopping trolley stations outside the store.
