Thierry Molenaar has been appointed as the new CEO of the Gondella Group to build on previous achievements.
Nazareth, 19 August 2024. The Gondella Group announces a change in its management team to strengthen the company's growth and development. Following a successful transition period, the Gondella Group is now ready to take the next steps towards sustainable growth.
Thierry possesses a wealth of experience and expertise, particularly in the areas of sales and marketing, and the board of directors is convinced that his leadership will help the organization expand its market leadership and achieve sustainable growth and innovation. As CEO, Thierry will take on the day-to-day operational management of the Gondella Group, supported by an experienced management team.
These leadership changes will strengthen ongoing activities and relationships with partners. In addition to consolidating its position in the domestic market, the Gondella Group remains committed to realizing its international growth ambitions and exploring new markets.

Thierry Molenaar
Thierry Molenaar is an experienced strategy consultant, change manager, and interim manager, specialising in significantly improving business growth and financial performance through executive management, growth strategies, and extensive management and leadership training. He has extensive experience in various management and leadership roles in the FMCG and retail sectors.
As CEO of Food For Freedom, he led brands such as De Hobbit and The Bio Veggie Company. As General Manager at De Paddestoel BV and Bertyn BV, he managed sales, product development, and marketing, among other things, achieving business growth in a challenging market.
At Pietercil Group, he served as a strategic consultant and interim business unit manager, where he developed strategies that resulted in business growth. As Director of Marketing, Innovation, and Strategy at Lantmännen Unibake, he led a business turnaround and initiated strategic projects, including the launch of an award-winning foodservice concept.
Thierry began his career at Henkel, where he held various roles and achieved significant growth in different markets. He has an academic background with a Master in Marketing Management from Vlerick Business School and a Master in Applied Economics from the University of Ghent. Thierry has also completed courses in Digital Leadership and Driving Growth through Customer Centricity at the Vlerick Business School.
His skills include strategic thinking, financial management, leadership development, product innovation, and mergers and acquisitions. He is passionate about creating results-oriented organisations and developing both the professional and interpersonal skills of his team members.
